Why I Created This Mentorship
Over the past year I've had the pleasure of teaching DOZEN of artists through my online workshops BUT real progress doesn't come from watching another tutorial or attending another workshop.
It comes from practising consistently, receiving honest feedback, asking questions and having someone guide you through the challenges that every animator faces.
That's exactly why I created The Stop Motion Mentorship.
For six weeks we'll work together where you'll receive practical assignments, personalised feedback and the accountability to keep making progress every single week.
My goal isn't simply to teach techniques.
It's to help you become a confident, independent stop motion artist.
The Power of Personalised Mentorship
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching has been seeing how quickly people improve when they're given regular, personalised feedback.
Several students have told me they learned more in six weeks working with me than they did during two years at college.
That's the value of personalised mentorship.
Instead of trying to apply general advice from tutorials or large classes, you'll receive guidance designed around your own goals, strengths and challenges—helping you improve faster and with greater confidence.
Imagine Where You Could Be Six Weeks From Now...
-
Feeling confident planning and producing your own stop motion projects.
-
Receiving personalised feedback every week, helping you improve faster than you could on your own.
-
Building stronger characters, performances and animations that you're genuinely proud to share.
-
Developing a professional workflow that gives you the confidence to tackle increasingly ambitious projects.
-
Finishing the mentorship with a stronger portfolio that showcases your skills and creative potential.
-
Feeling better prepared to pursue freelance opportunities, apply for roles in the creative industries, or take the next step towards a career in stop motion.
By the end of the six weeks, you won't just have learned new techniques—you'll have the confidence, experience and direction to continue developing as a stop motion artist long after the mentorship has ended.
Is This Mentorship Right For You?
Whether your goal is to create films for your own enjoyment or build a career in stop motion, this programme is designed to help you develop both as an animator and as a creative professional.
It's ideal if you:
✓ Are completely new to stop motion and want to build strong foundations from the start.
✓ Already make animations but feel you've reached a plateau and aren't sure how to improve.
✓ Want structured learning instead of piecing together advice from online tutorials.
✓ Want personalised feedback on your work from a professional stop motion artist.
✓ Are building a showreel for university, freelance work or employment in the creative industries.
✓ Are hoping to break into the stop motion or animation industry and would value guidance on developing your showreel, approaching studios and building a sustainable creative career.
If you're serious about developing your skills and taking the next step as a stop motion artist, this mentorship is for you.
What You'll Learn
Each week combines live demonstrations, discussion, practical assignments and personalised feedback, giving you the opportunity to immediately apply what you've learned to your own work.
Throughout the programme you'll develop not only the technical skills needed to create stronger stop motion animation, but also the professional mindset, workflow and creative confidence used throughout the industry.
By the end of the mentorship you'll have a stronger understanding of the complete stop motion production process, a more professional showreel, and the knowledge and confidence to continue developing your work—or take the next step towards a career in stop motion.
Throughout the programme you'll also be able to ask questions about building a creative career, including:
• Building a professional showreel
• Developing personal projects
• Freelancing and working professionally
